Christian Schmitt (Romanist)
Christian Schmitt (born March 27, 1944 in Mosbach ) is a German Romanist .
Life
After graduating as Dr. phil. at the University of Heidelberg in 1974 and habilitation in 1977, he became professor in Hamburg in 1977 , in Bonn in 1979 , in Heidelberg in 1984 and in Bonn in 1988.
