Rumpelstil is a band from Berlin . She makes music for children and families.

Concerts

The "flashlight concerts", which the band organizes regularly, are played in open-air stages. The audience, including many children, are asked to bring flashlights and support the concert accordingly. The first flashlight concert took place in 1998 in the Weißensee open-air stage. The first concerts took place in front of a few hundred spectators; 16,000 spectators attended the 2009 concert in the Berlin Waldbühne .

The band wants to entertain adults and children alike. Children accompanied by their parents can attend the “Favorite Books Concert” for free if they bring their favorite book with them.

For attending the “garbage concert”, children receive points for the amount of waste paper they bring with them, with which they can wish for songs during the concert.
