Blanche Elliz

Blanche Elliz (born in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch singer. In Germany she became known as the singer of the Berlin band Rumpelstil .

Life and career

Blanche Elliz comes from a family of singers. From 1982 to 1985 she studied at the Maastricht Art Academy . She achieved her first international success as the winner of the Star Search International casting competition broadcast in the USA , Canada and Mexico , which she won in the category of best foreign singer under the jury of Ed MacMahon , Steve Lukather and Womack & Womack . She went back to the Netherlands and founded the band You Jane , in which she sang and composed. At the same time she was active as a session and studio singer. Among other things, she toured with the band Gruppo Sportivo through the former GDR .

She is a certified NLP trainer and voice therapist and teaches people to get rid of their stage fright and develop their vocal power. In 1996 Elliz moved to Berlin and quickly made contact with the band Rumpelstil . There she is primarily active as a singer and accordionist and composes part of the band's repertoire. In addition, she is active as a solo artist under the name Blanche Elliz .

She offers her motivational show "Singing Out Loud" to companies to strengthen a community and promote team building.

In her book "Singing Out Loud" Elliz describes what singing is all about. It also contains some basic exercises that interested parties can use to become familiar with your voice in small steps.

Elliz runs the cooking and singing podcast "Rot & Blond: Cooking Out Loud" (together with food blogger, coach and management consultant Natali Borsi).

Blanche Elliz has lived in Berlin for 24 years and has a grown daughter.
