Rostock-Stadtweide transmitter
The transmitter Rostock-Stadtweide was a radio transmitter for medium wave in Rostock , which was operated on the frequency 558 kHz with 20 kW transmission power.
In the 1970s, it replaced a system in a former gravel pit in Diedrichshagen and served to spread the GDR 1 program and, in the summer months, to spread the holiday wave . In 1992 the plant was handed over to the NDR and shut down in 1994.
