The Rusumo Falls are waterfalls located on the border of Rwanda and Tanzania on the Kagera Nile in Africa .

Only a few hundred meters below its so-called "south knee", the water of the Kagera-Nile plunges over its approximately 15-meter-high cascades into a swampy ditch up to 15 kilometers wide, rich in lakes, in which the Akagera National Park is located.
