The colors of the singers' body (S!) Are dark blue-white-light blue with a silver percussion or light blue-white-dark blue vu with silver percussion (according to Jenenser reading). She carries the motto golden life with song . The headgear of the compound is a cap in the Biedermeier format . The cap color is white with a dark blue-white-light blue color band (colors of the S! To St. Pauli Jena) on the lower edge of the cap. On the left side of the hat, a jack-of-all-trades in the shape of a vine-tipped ribbon with the colors blue-red on white (colors of S! Burgundia Breslau) is worn.

history

The singers of St. Pauli-Jena et Burgundia Breslau in Münster is an amalgamation of the singers of St. Pauli Jena, founded in 1828, and the singers of Burgundia Breslau , founded in 1910 , which took place in 1957. Since the tradition of both original singers is continued through the merger, it refers to the older founding date of the St. Pauli singers (March 2, 1828). Today's singers are therefore the third oldest in Germany. Since the traditions of both connections are carried on, it is an academic, artistic and facultative flapping connection. It was not until 1959 that the old rulers of both associations were merged and compulsory drums were introduced.

In 1961, Federal President Heinrich Lübke awarded the singers the Zelter plaque . A mixed choir was introduced in 1993, although membership in the choir is limited to the male sex.

Singers today

All active members are obliged to learn to fencing, to participate in the choir and in the convents. The choir shows a great presence through numerous external performances in churches and concerts.
