Portico
In architecture, various components formed by rows of columns are referred to as pillars:
- Stoa (architecture) , an open hypostyle hall in ancient Greece, mostly located at the agora
- Portikus , a portico that serves as a porch in front of the main facade of a building
- Loggia , a semi-open portico in a building and an Italian building type
- Peristasis , a portico that runs around the outside of a building
- Peristyle , a columned hall running around an inner courtyard
