The Söller Sportschützen are a shooting club in the municipality of Söll in Tyrol.
history
The club was founded in 1957 as the Schützengilde Söll and renamed Söller Sportschützen in 2005 . Since the early 1980s, the club has been one of the most successful in Austria and has always produced Austrian champions, European and World Cup participants.
The greatest team triumph came in 2011 in Wels , where he became champion of the Austrian Bundesliga against the team of SG Kössen . This success was repeated in 2014 against the "royal private rifle guild Zell am See". This makes the Söller sport shooters, together with the SG Zell am Ziller, record winners of the Austrian Air Rifle League.
Shooting range
In 2008 one of the most modern shooting ranges in Austria was built as part of the new Salvenarena Söll.
2011 championship team
The 2011 championship team, which remained unbeaten in that Bundesliga season, were Sonja Embacher , Dieter Grabner , Georg Zott , Daniela Wohlschlager , Bernhard Krall , Martin Embacher and Alexandra Embacher .
