Southern Ming Dynasty

Southern Ming Dynasty ( Chinese  南明 , Pinyin Nan Ming , 1644–1662) denotes different, partly parallel rulers after the fall of the Ming Dynasty .

In detail, these were (the rulers such as Yongli or Dingwu, whose rulers ran almost parallel, are mostly known by the era name):

  • the Hongguang reign of the Prince of Fu (1644–1645) (Zhu Yousong 朱 由 崧)
  • the Longwu reign of the Prince of Tang (1645–1646) ( Zhu Yujian朱 聿 鍵)
  • the reign of the Prince of Lu (1645–1653) (Zhu Yihai 朱 以 海), aeran names Hongguang 弘光 (1645) and Jianguo 监 国 (1646–1653)
  • the Shaowu reign of the Prince of Tang (1646.11–1646.12) (Zhu Yuyue 朱 聿 ?)
  • the Yongli reign of the Prince of Gui (1646–1661) ( Zhu Youlang朱 由 榔)
  • the Dingwu rule of the Prince of Han (1646–1663) (Zhu Benli 朱 本 鉝)

All were attacked and wiped out by the Qing Dynasty .
