The southern smooth dolphin ( Lissodelphis peronii ) is one of the two representatives of the genus Lissodelphis within the dolphins (Delphinidae). It is at home in the open sea of ​​the entire temperate zone of the southern hemisphere. The northernmost occurrence is on the 19th parallel southern latitude.
