Scolded John Bus

Schelte John "Bobby" Bus (* 1956 ) is an American astronomer who mainly explores asteroids and comets .

He works for the University of Hawaii as a researcher and as an assistant (support astronomer) at the NASA infrared telescope (IRTF) at the Mauna Kea Observatory .

Bus discovered over a thousand asteroids (some together with Eleanor Helin ) as well as a comet (87P / Bus). The asteroid (3254) bus ( discovered by Edward LG Bowell in 1982 ) is named after him.
