S. Rajasekharan (born January 4, 1946 ) is an Indian literary critic and Malayalam poet.

Career

Rajasekharan was a lecturer at various colleges and professor at the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit in Kalady for over 30 years . In 2006 he retired. He was a member of the Board of Studies at the University of Kerala and the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit.

In 1991 he received his doctorate with the dissertation Vailoppilli's - Vision of Life and Poetry .

He was founding president of the Teachers' Association of Sree Sankaracharya Sanskrit University in 1996 and the Association of Sree Sankaracharya Sanskrit University Teachers in 1998 . He was also chairman and member of other scientific organizations.

Awards

S. Rajasekharan has received a variety of awards and prizes, including a. Thayat Award (1991), The Samskarakeralam Award 2000 , Mon. Fri. Kureethadom Memorial Sahithyaratnam Award (2010), SBT Literary Award for Literary Criticism 2010 , Dr. CP Menon Award 2012

Rajasekharan has published more than 30 books on Malayalam literature and Keralesian culture, as well as a number of poetry.
