SBB Beamtenbund and Tarifunion Sachsen

The SBB Beamtenbund und Tarifunion Sachsen eV (colloquially: SBB or Sächsischer Beamtenbund ) was founded on April 5, 1991 in Dresden as a state union of the DBB Beamtenbund and Tarifunion . It is an amalgamation of trade unions and professional associations from all areas of the public service and the privatized areas of the public service in Saxony . The SBB Beamtenbund and Tarifunion Sachsen is the umbrella organization for over 30 member unions that are organized in SBB.

The office of the Saxon Civil Service Association is located in Dresden. The current chairman since 2016 is Nannette Seidler ( DSTG ) .

The special interests of the female members of the Saxon Civil Service Association are represented by the SBB women's representatives, those of its young members by the sbb youth representatives and those of its older members by the SBB senior representatives.

Bodies

The trade union day is SBB's highest body. It meets every five years. Above all, it lays down the principles for professional policy work, draws up guidelines for budget management and decides on contributions. The trade union day decides on amendments to the statutes and elects the national management by secret ballot for a period of five years.

The state executive committee is made up of one representative from each of the unions and associations represented in SBB. It also includes the regional management of the SBB and the chairmen of the SBB women's representatives, the SBB senior citizens' representatives and the sbb youth representatives. It meets at least twice a year. He is responsible for professional, legal and social issues of principle. It deals with organizational and public relations issues and approves the budget. It convenes commissions and decides on the admission or exclusion of member organizations.

The country management consists of the SBB country chairperson and seven deputies. The country management executes the decisions made by the other bodies and is responsible for their proper implementation.
