The SFT Loader is a download manager for SFT files which contain encrypted FTP or HTTP links and login data that are intended to simplify the loading process. A password is usually required to open.
On June 27, 2008 it was announced that the SFT loader will be sold. The minimum price was not reached at an auction. The SFT project will be continued in an improved manner.
Since May 16, 2012 it has been possible to decrypt SFT files up to version 2009, which means that the links can be read out in plain text.
In November 2012, a critical security vulnerability became public, which made it possible to slip malicious code onto the user.
