sFlow is a standard for monitoring of computer networks , which in 2001 in RFC was introduced 3176th
sFlow describes a mechanism to statistically record the network traffic flowing over a switch or router and to forward it to a central server for analysis. There are two different types of acquisition: flow samples and counter samples .
