The HK SKA Novosibirsk ( Russian ХК СКА Новосибирск ) is a former ice hockey team from the Russian city of Novosibirsk . The club played for a total of six years in the Pervaya League , the second Soviet division.
history
The club was founded in the early 1960s and initially took part in the operations of the Class B , the then second division. Later, the club rose to the third highest Soviet league, the Wtoraja League , which the team was able to win for the first time in 1979 and rose to the second-rate Pervaya League . After four seasons there was relegation from the Pervaya League in the 1982/83 season . In the 1987/88 season, the team achieved promotion. After two more seasons, the club was dissolved after the 1989/90 season , in which he had occupied the 16th and thus last place.
