The series sl x10p is a Swedish electric triebzuggattung to run on a track width of 891 millimeters.

From 1988 to 1995, a total of 35 units of the SL X10p series were built by Asea Brown Boveri . They are used in regional traffic. The trains consist of a multiple unit (X10p 201–235), an intermediate car ( UBp 801–832 ex 301–332 ) and a control car ( UBxp 121–154 ). They are designed to operate with 1500 V DC designed and on to storstockholms lokaltrafik belonging Roslagsbanan near Stockholm used.

The wagons are equipped with the Scharfenberg couplings and additional contact attachments that are usual for the Roslagbahn. The train formation is thus freely possible. The railcars are equipped with two driver's cabs, which enables use as a single vehicle.

There are open car crossings at the car ends running within a three car unit, but these are reserved for train staff.

modernization

Between 2012 and 2016, the vehicles were gradually modernized. The seating was renewed, the interior lighting switched to LED lights and electronic train destination displays installed. The intermediate carriages were also equipped with a low-floor area for barrier-free access with wheelchairs or prams.
