Stade Olympique Romorantinais is a French football club from Romorantin-Lanthenay , a small town in the Loir-et-Cher department , between Blois and Bourges . 2015 he named after the landscape in which it is located , in Sologne Romorantin Olympique order.

It was founded in 1930. The club colors are green and white; the league team plays in the Stade Jules-Ladoumègue , which has a capacity of 6,200 seats.

The club's president is Michel Rebrioux; the first team is currently coached by Xavier Dudoit. (As of October 2010)

League affiliation

Romorantin has never had professional status and has not played first class ( Division 1 , renamed Ligue 1 since 2002 ); Since the early 1990s, however, he has worked his way up from lower regional leagues to the National (D3) , from which the club, however, relegated in 2008. In the 2013/14 season he competes in the fourth-rate Championnat de France Amateur , the country's highest amateur league.
