SPUFI

SPUFI (SQL Processing Using File Input) describes an SQL statement that is not embedded in a program, but rather sent via a file or manual input.

There is a tool of the same name on the IBM mainframe , which makes it possible to interactively change database structures, edit and execute SQL statements and display the results in a processed form.
