Fat admiring
The term fat admiring stands for a sexual inclination in which someone finds exclusively overweight people sexually attractive. Translated, a Fat Admirer (FA) is an admirer of body fat. This preference can appear in different forms, from the preference for a little fat in different places to the preference for overweight in a form threatening health ( obesity ). Whether fat admiring is a form of fetishism is controversial.
In many cases, this preference is only lived out in the imagination, the fat admirer does not dare to communicate his preference to the public and especially to his friends and relatives. Or a partner who is slightly overweight is chosen, although the fat admirer would like to have a person who is more overweight. Most fat admirers are male.
Women with this sexual orientation are often referred to as Female Fat Admirers (FFA). The corresponding sexual partners are called Big Beautiful Woman (BBW) or Big Handsome Man (BHM). Modifications of the abbreviations are common, for example Super Sized Big Beautiful Woman (SSBBW) for a woman who is already considerably overweight, whereby the delimitation here is very subjective.

Big Beautiful Woman (German: thick beautiful woman) is a term for a fat, heavy woman. This term is mainly used in German-speaking countries in connection with fat admiring or with feeding , a particular sexual inclination. The abbreviation BBW is often used in relevant personals or as a genre of porn films .
The same applies to the Super Size Big Beautiful Woman as to the Big Beautiful Woman , but in contrast to the BBW , an SSBBW is an extremely heavy or obese woman who is perceived as sexually attractive. According to a definition on the Internet, a BBW is already at least 40 kilograms overweight , an SSBBW correspondingly significantly more. However, such classifications are very imprecise.
The term Big Beautiful Woman comes from the USA and was first used there by the so-called Fat Acceptance Movement, which campaigns against discrimination against overweight people. It should boost the self-confidence of fat women. In the following years the term was adopted in the vocabulary of feeders and fat admirers , with them with a sexual connotation .
In the American National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance (Naafa), avowed fat admirers are also accepted as members. While the organization is still tolerant of fat admiring , it expressly distances itself from the practice of feeding on its website . In Germany, such organizations try to avoid being associated with special sexual inclinations, the term BBW is not used. At the association Dicke e. V. , which no longer exists, Fat admirers were not admitted as members. At the German forum for fat people, which claims to be committed to the acceptance and self-acceptance of fat people, the forum rules expressly prohibit posting posts that “glorify weight gain in the sense of a fetish”.
