SSRF

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The S hanghai S ynchrotron R adiation F acility ( SSRF ) is a 2009 opened synchrotron in Shanghai . Electrons with an energy of 3.5 giga electron volts (GeV) are injected into their storage ring with a circumference of 432 m . The SSRF is currently under construction and experiments with synchrotron radiation can be carried out on 14 beamlines (as of December 2016). The focus is on X-ray diffraction with photon energies from 250 eV to 72 keV. After completion there will be around 60 measuring stations.
