The SSV Bad Brambach (officially: Spiel- und Sportverein Bad Brambach eV ) is a sports club from the Saxon spa town of Bad Brambach in the Vogtlandkreis .

history

The origins of the association go back to the 1950s. The company sports community (BSG) Brambacher Sprudel, from 1952 BSG Empor Bad Brambach , was created through the organization of sport on a company basis in the GDR . After the political change in 1989, new paths were also required in sport. On October 1, 1990, the BSG Empor dissolved. On the same day, the athletes founded the Spiel- und Sportverein Bad Brambach eV as a direct successor club.

Winter sports

After its foundation, the BSG Empor Bad Brambach built the Wachtbergschanze near the Hohendorfer Mühle . Competitions took place on the ski jumping hill for many years. However, it had to be demolished after 1978 because it was dilapidated .
