STOA169

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The STOA169 is an artist column hall in Polling , Upper Bavaria , initiated by the artist Bernd Zimmer . It unites international artists in one place: More than 100 artists, who were selected by a jury of experts and who shape the international art scene, each design a pillar that together support a common roof. On 1,800 square meters, an open portico is being built in the middle of nature, a permanent setting that unites contemporary artistic ideas and different cultural views in one place. Together with the columned hall, the artists set an example for peaceful coexistence and respect for nature around the world.
