The STS Group is a provider of solutions for sound and heat insulation in the engine and interior as well as interior and exterior trim parts for commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The company's headquarters are in Hallbergmoos . The group includes 17 plants and four development centers in France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Mexico, Brazil and China.

history

The group of companies emerged from the Italian commercial and light vehicle business of the Swiss automotive supplier Autoneum , which was sold to Mutares in July 2013 , and which was gradually expanded into the globally active STS Group through add-on acquisitions . In 2018 the company was converted into a stock corporation and floated on the stock exchange, with Mutares remaining the majority shareholder with 60%.

Business activity

In 2019, the group employed around 2,450 people and generated sales of 360 million euros.
