The SV Erlenbach am Main is a sports club from the Lower Franconian town of Erlenbach am Main . In addition to the successful soccer department, the club also offers aerobics .

history

On March 19, 1919, the Viktoria Erlenbach football club was founded in the “Zur Traube” inn. After registering with the South German Football Association, the club took part in games from autumn 1919. In 1921 you became a C master, in 1922 B master. Then they played in the East Main District League until 1932. In February 1941 gaming operations came to a standstill.

From 1946 the first point games were played in the district league again. In 1951 the club rose again to the II. Amateur League Lower Franconia, to which he belonged for 17 years without interruption. On February 20, 1970 Viktoria Erlenbach merged with the soccer club Eintracht Erlenbach, founded in 1949, to form SV Erlenbach am Main. Three years after the merger, the club rose again to the district league. 1977 followed the promotion to the national league, where they were runner-up in 1979 and 1980 respectively. After seven years in the regional league, relegation came.

In 1990 he qualified for the Lower Franconian regional league, which remained sporting home for the next 20 years - interrupted by three short promotions to the regional league. In the course of the division reform in Bavaria, the club returned to the regional league in 2012 and secured the championship and promotion to the Bavarian league in 2013 with coach Jürgen Baier .
