The SHARC ( S wedish H ighly A dvanced R eSearch C onfiguration) is a UAV demonstrator of the Swedish company Saab .

history

The primary aim of the project was to develop UAV capabilities and demonstrate an autonomous fighter-bomber mission.

construction

A major focus in the development of the aircraft was on the camouflage properties (including the implementation of an internal weapon bay) and a high probability of survival. Development began in 2001 and the maiden flight followed a year later.
