The Saar-Mobil GmbH , based in Püttlingen is a transport company of the local public transport . It is integrated into the Saarland Transport Association (SaarVV).

history

Saar-Mobil was founded in 2014 by the five Saarland bus companies Aloys Baron GmbH , Gassert Reisen GmbH, Geschwister Bur Reisen GmbH, Lay Reisen on Tour GmbH and Marianne Feld GmbH. The merger took place against the background of upcoming tenders for public transport services in several Saarland regions in the foreseeable future. The companies assumed that, as individual companies, they were too small to be able to serve the advertised line bundles alone.

In 2015, Saar-Mobil won several line bundles in the districts of St. Wendel and Saarpfalz-Kreis , which were previously served by the Saar-Pfalz-Bus company, as part of two tenders .

Lines

Saar-Mobil operates 30 bus routes in the St. Wendel district and 36 routes in the Saar-Palatinate district. In the Merzig-Wadern district, Saar-Mobil operates the R1 regional bus line as well as lines 221, 232 and 233. Saar-Mobil operates the 132, 142, 146, 149 and 173 lines in the Saarbrücken regional association.
