Saare (German: Saarenhof ) was an Estonian rural community in Jõgeva County with an area of 224.7 km². It had 1367 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2010).
In addition to the main town Kääpa (until 2006: Saare, 219 inhabitants), the municipality included the villages:
Saare is characterized above all by its untouched nature around the lake Saarejärv (area: 27 hectares) and along the Kääpa river. The Saare manor was built in 1730 in the Baroque style and was one of the most luxurious estates in Estonia today. It was destroyed in the 1930s. The stables and storerooms are still there.
