Saarland Psychiatry Museum

The Saarland Psychiatry Museum is located in the SHG Clinic Merzig at Trierer Straße 148 in Merzig .

It is located in the old roof structure of the psychiatry department in a room around 200 square meters with sloping roof beams and old stone walls.

Among other things, the museum also deals with the fate of patients from Merzig during the Nazi era , including forced sterilizations and murders as part of the T4 campaign .
