The Safari Park in Pombia in Italy is an animal , safari and amusement park . It was created by Angelo Lombardi in 1976 and covers an area of 40 hectares. It is home to around 600 animals. In 1999 the old park was taken over by Orfeo Triberti. It consists of two separate areas: the safari park and the amusement park.
