The Saglek Fjord (also Saglek Fiord ) is a fjord on the east coast of the Labrador Peninsula .
The 45 km long and 3.2 km wide fjord is 230 km north of the village of Nain . The Torngat Mountains National Park extends north of the fjord . The water area of the fjord covers about 190 km². The bay opens to Saglek Bay in the east at Upernavik Island . In the northeast are the islands of Jens Haven Island and Branagan Island . In the southeast are the two sub-bays Kiyuktok Cove and Pangertok Inlet . To the south of the Saglek Fjord rises the 1242 m high Mount Pinuksoak . The fjord splits to the west. In the southwest is the 25 km long and 2 km wide Ugjuktok Fjord . In the west is the West Arm , which in turn splits into the North Arm and the Southwest Arm . The Saglek Fjord's tributaries are Nakvak Brook , North Arm River , Southwest Arm River , Ugjuktok River, and Pangertok Inlet River .
