Sai Yok
Sai Yok ( Thai : ไทรโยค ) is an archaeological area and a city in the Sai Yok District , Province of Kanchanaburi in western central Thailand .
Excavation history
Sai Yok was the first place in Thailand where rubble implements were found, indicating hunters and gatherers who roamed the country similar to the Hoabinhian people. Later research uncovered numerous other sites.
Finds
Numerous rubble tools were found under a rock roof that had been machined on one side so that they could be used as a knife or ax. Unfortunately, no data from radiocarbon dating have been reported.
