Saint-Denis - Université is an underground station of the Paris Métro . It is located below the University of Paris VIII in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis and is served by Métrolinie 13 . The station is named after the suburb of the same name and the university above.
The station began operating on May 25, 1998 when the last section of the northeast branch of line 13 from the Basilique de Saint-Denis station to the Saint-Denis - Université station went into operation. Since then it has been the end point of the northeast branch of line 13.
