Salt house (Mosbach)
The Salzhaus is a half-timbered house in Mosbach in the Neckar-Odenwald district in northern Baden-Württemberg . It was built in 1424/25, making it the city's oldest half-timbered house.
history
Its name comes from the fact that the house was probably once used to store salt . Around 1900 the stationery and music shop of Wilhelm Halter, who founded the Concordia music association in 1895, was located in the building. After Halter moved away, Franz Schell set up a grocery and delicatessen shop in the building.
