Samba Lamine Mané

Samba Lamine Mané is a former politician from Guinea-Bissau .

Life

Mané was appointed Minister of Natural Resources to Prime Minister João Bernardo Vieira in 1978 . In the course of a government reshuffle, he took over the post of Foreign Minister in 1982 as the successor to Victor Saúde Maria , who in turn had taken over the post of Prime Minister himself on May 14, 1982. He held the post of Foreign Minister until he was replaced by Fidélis Cabral d'Almada in 1983.

In 1991 Mané became Minister of Defense in the cabinet of Prime Minister Carlos Correia and also held this office in the government of Correia's successor Manuel Saturnino da Costa , in the subsequent Correia second cabinet and in the government of Francisco Fadul until 1999.
