Dalp Collection

The Dalp Collection is one of the oldest and most important book series from A. Francke Verlag , in which introductions and special studies on the humanities have been published since 1946. Francke Verlag in Bern was founded in 1831 as Dalp'sche Buchhandlung by Johann Felix Jacob Dalp (1793–1851).

The first volume in the series was the book What is Life? : Physicist and Nobel Prize winner Erwin Schrödinger (1887–1961) looks at living cells through the eyes of a physicist .
