hardware
The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410 processor, which is clocked at 1.2 GHz. The graphics unit is an Adreno 306 GPU. The processor has 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB of flash memory. The built-in battery has a capacity of 3100 mAh and is replaceable. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) has a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display, which has a resolution of 1280 × 728 pixels.
The Galaxy J5 has a 13 megapixel camera on the back and has an f / 1.9 aperture with auto focus and an LED flash. A 5.2 megapixel camera can be found on the front, which also has an f / 1.9 aperture and an LED flash.

The phone is delivered with the Android 6.0.1 operating system. An update to Android 7.1.1 is available. There will no longer be an update to a newer operating system. It supports 4G LTE with dual SIM capable 4G. There is also support for Samsung Knox .
