The San Jose City Hall is the city hall of San José (California) and combines all offices of the city administration in one building. It opened on October 15, 2005 and was designed by architect Richard Meier in a post-modern style . The 46,000 m² town hall, which has 1950 employees, has 18 floors and, at 86 meters, was the tallest building in the city since its completion, until it was overtaken by the 88 (San Jose) building by one meter in 2008 .
