sanARTfilm is a German film distributor of artistically demanding feature films, short films and documentaries from Turkey .
The company was founded in 1999 by the German-Turkish filmmaker, journalist and translator Tunçay Kulaoğlu, initially only to create German-language versions for the Turkey / Germany film festival in Nuremberg .
In the meantime, sanARTfilm distributes Turkish films in the original with German subtitles to cinemas all over Germany. Often the films selected for distribution have won national and international awards before being prepared for the German market.
The company is based in Schweinfurt .
