Sandby is a village belonging to the municipality of Mörbylånga on the Swedish Baltic island of Öland .

The village with fewer than 50 inhabitants (as of 2005) is located east of the country road leading along the east side of the island, south of Gårdby .

There are two large ornate rune stones near the 19th-century Sandby Church . To the east of the church, a stone setting in the form of a patriarchal cross marks the location of a stone cross. About three kilometers south of the village, near the Baltic Sea coast, there is the heavily damaged refuge Sandby borg .
