Sanden KK ( Japanese サ ン デ ン 株式会社 , Sanden kabushiki kaisha , English Sanden Corporation ) is a Japanese automotive supplier founded in 1943 as Sankyō Denki KK ( 三 共 電器 株式会社 ) with headquarters in Isesaki and Tokyo, Japan. Manufacturing sites in Japan are in Nakanosawa and Yattajima-machi ( 八斗 島 町 ) (Isesaki). For the fiscal year 2008, which ended in March 2009, sales were 216.69 billion yen.
Production also takes place at the European site in Tinténiac, France. In Germany, the company has a development and test center for automotive air conditioning compressors in Bad Nauheim .
