Sandra-Lia Infanger (* 13. April 1980 in Olten as Adrian Thomas Infanger ) is a Swiss politician and blogger .

At the end of 2004 she wanted to be entered as a transsexual woman on the electoral list of the Juso for the cantonal council elections in the canton of Solothurn . The Oberamt refused the candidacy because she was still listed in the population register under her male first name. This decision was widely discussed in the Swiss media and made Infanger known throughout Switzerland. She challenged the decision in front of the federal court , but was unsuccessful. The newspaper 20 Minuten reported regularly from 2005 to 2007 about her life and about the gender reassignment surgery .

In 2009 she founded the Alternative Swiss Party (ASP) and ran again for the seat of the Cantonal Council. However, it only reached 0.34% and was not elected. Your ASP list received 1,038 votes (equivalent to 0.34%), and you yourself 504 candidate votes.
