Sandra Bern

Sandra Bern (born November 6, 1980 in Vienna ) is an Austrian singer and actress.

Life

education

Sandra Bern started with her first instrument before her third birthday, which was to be followed by a few more. Thus music accompanied her from early childhood. It was not until she was 18 that she secretly began to take singing lessons. In the process, her teacher at the time discovered the potential, the enormous range of her voice, especially the high pitches and her musicality. This supported her in her desire to turn singing into a profession.

After graduating from high school , she initially studied at the Pedagogical Academy, which she graduated in 2002. During her studies, she continued to take singing lessons and also took acting and dance lessons. In 2003 she began studying musical entertainment theater, which she completed in 2007 with the Paritätische Bühnen-maturity exam.

Career

Since completing her studies, Sandra Bern has been working in all three fields (dance, singing and acting) in the entire German-speaking area. She was on stage in both tabloid comedies such as ( The Chinese Come ) and in classics, for example Clavigo by JW Goethe or Don Carlos by F.Schiller . She sings musicals ( Peter Pan ) as well as operas ( Die Zauberflöte , Die Entführung aus dem Serail and Carmen ).

Her special love is also for old Viennese music and Viennese chansons. Sandra Bern pays particular attention to the musical development of children and young people. Therefore, she not only likes to sing in opera productions for children, but also leads various music projects with children.

Sandra Bern was born as the second and last daughter. Her sister Verena is almost 5 years older than her. Sandra Bern has been married since August 2008, and her two daughters were born in February 2011 and December 2012. She has her main residence in Vienna .
