Sant Miquel d'Engolasters

Sant Miquel d'Engolasters is a Romanesque church in the town of Escaldes-Engordany in the Principality of Andorra .

This church from the 12th century has a rectangular nave, a roof with two different angles of inclination and a semicircular apse with a dome . The building is characterized by its architectural simplicity and the disproportion between the nave and the bell tower. The bell tower is around 17 meters high. Inside the church are reproductions of Romanesque wall paintings by the Master of Santa Coloma from the 12th century. The originals of the works of art are in the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC in Barcelona).

The church is a listed building and has been registered since June 12, 2003 on the basis of the Llei del patrimoni cultural d'Andorra law .
