Santa Ana (ship)

The Santa Ana was a Spanish ship of the line , was completed in 1784 and carried 112 cannons. She was the model for the so-called Santa Ana class and fought in the Battle of Trafalgar as the flagship of Ignacio María de Álava . It was badly damaged there and fell into the hands of the British. Two days later it was retaken by Franco-Spanish forces and taken to Cadiz .
