The Santiago National Football Club was a football club from the Chilean capital Santiago de Chile . The club, founded on October 10, 1900, arose from the upper classes of Santiago's society and made a major contribution to the spread of football in Chile at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1933, Santiago National was one of the eight founding members of the Chilean professional football league.

In 1940, Santiago National merged with the newly founded Juventus FC to form Santiago National Juventus and under this name took third place in the first division. The merger was dissolved in 1942. The greatest success was the victory at Campeonato de Apertura - between 1933 and 1950 an important pre-season tournament on the Chilean football calendar - after the club had returned to its previous name.

In the later 1940s, however, the club began to decline, which in 1949 led to its relegation to the amateur camp. In 1954, the Santiago National FC was finally dissolved.
