Saori Kondo

Saori Kondō ( Japanese 近藤 小 織 , Kondō Saori , married Saori Kōmoto ( 河 本 小 織 , Kōmoto Saori ); * March 18, 1956 ) is a former Japanese badminton player .

Career

Saori Kondō won the national Japanese women's singles title in 1977. A year later she was in the final of the All England and won bronze at the Asian Games. In 1979 she was again defeated in the final of the All England and was second as in the previous year. At the Uber Cup 1978 and the Uber Cup 1981 she was world champion with the Japanese women's team.
