Sarchem is a district of the town of Hitzacker (Elbe) in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .

The place is two kilometers west of downtown Hitzacker.
history
For the year 1848 it is stated that Sarchem had seven residential buildings in which 46 residents lived. In addition, the associated mill is given with a residential building with six residents. At the time the place was parish to Hitzacker , where the school was located. On December 1, 1910, Sarchem had 78 inhabitants as an independent municipality in the Dannenberg district .
