SARTRE

Safe Road Trains for the Environment ( SARTRE ) was a European Union project from 2009 to 2012 that dealt with the development of platooning , computer-controlled driving in columns. A system was developed with which three cars behind a truck covered about 200 km in a column with a distance of about 6 meters on a Spanish motorway. The following were involved:
