Satiricon

Satirikon was a satirical weekly magazine that appeared in Saint Petersburg from 1908 to 1914 . The magazine criticized the government as well as conservative and reactionary forces in society. Some of the employees founded the Nowy Satirikon magazine in 1913 , which existed until 1918.

The authors of both publications included Leonid Andrejew , Arkadi Awertschenko , Isaak Babel , Ilja Ehrenburg , Alexander Grin , Alexander Kuprin , Wladimir Majakowski , Ossip Mandelstam , Samuil Marschak , Lev Nikulin , Alexei Radakow , Teffi and Alexei Tolstoy . For the artistic design u. a. Boris Anisfeld , Konstantin Korowin and Boris Kustodijew .
